About 62,400 families were due to receive nearly €27 million in third-quarter social benefits. Children’s Allowance and related supplements accounted for close to €20 million, covering 42,000 families and almost 63,000 children. A further €1.3 million was allocated to the Children with Disability Allowance for 2,100 families, while around 20,000 households or individuals were to share €5.4 million in supplementary assistance. The government estimated that annual payments would approach €110 million, after roughly €53 million had already been distributed during the first two quarters of 2026.
