Malta Public Transport introduced the first phase of its summer timetable on 13 June, with more changes due on 5 July. Routes 212, 221, 222, 223 and 225 were set to run more frequently, strengthening links to Buġibba, Ċirkewwa, Għajn Tuffieħa and Sliema. Route 53 between Valletta and Rabat was doubled to a half-hourly weekday service. Some lower-demand routes were adjusted, while X1A, 150 and 207 were due to be suspended from 5 July as the school year ended. Passengers were advised to check the Tallinja app for details.
