Forty players begin 53-hour marathon for Dar tal-Providenza

President Myriam Spiteri Debono inaugurated the 16th BOV Volleyball Marathon as 40 selected players began a continuous 53-hour challenge. The event moved to the MFCC’s North Gate venue in Ta’ Qali after years at the National Park. Players rotated in shifts to keep the game running until Saturday night, supported by volunteers, organisers and broadcasters. The marathon raises money for Dar tal-Providenza and highlights the voluntary effort sustaining services for persons with disability.
