Around 3,000 people enrolled in Let’s Move Malta, an eight-week programme promoting physical activity across seven centres in Malta and Gozo. More than 180 coaches and helpers were delivering swimming, athletics, football, gymnastics, fitness, dance, judo and sailing. Education and Sport Minister Byron Camilleri visited the Cottonera Sports Complex, where infrastructure work was also under way. Organisers presented the programme as a broad entry point into sport, combining structured activity, instruction and safe summer participation for different age groups.
