Prime Minister Robert Abela and Tourism Minister Jo Etienne Abela inaugurated the four-star INNSiDE by Meliá hotel in Buġibba. TVMnews said the project represented investment exceeding €10 million and followed wider public and private investment in the locality. The hotel has 86 rooms and employs about 50 people. Its opening added new branded accommodation to one of Malta's busiest tourism areas and was presented by the government as another contribution to the regeneration and year-round visitor economy of St Paul's Bay.
