The Malta Tourism Authority launched a free AI Tourism Platform bringing the MTA Traveller Survey and National Statistics Office inbound-tourism figures into one interface. Users can explore visitor behaviour, motivations, satisfaction, arrivals, nights stayed and expenditure without navigating separate databases. The authority said the tool is intended for operators, policymakers, researchers, journalists and the public, supporting evidence-based decisions across the visitor economy. MTA developed it with the NSO and funding from the Malta Digital Innovation Authority. Tourism Minister Jo Etienne Abela said better use of data should help Malta plan for a more competitive and sustainable sector.
