The poll of 835 respondents, conducted between 22 September and 2 October, gives small parties 3.8% and implies turnout of 76%. Its ±3.4-point margin of error makes the PL-PN difference statistically insignificant. MaltaToday links Labour’s weaker position mainly to abstention: 16.9% of its May voters now say they would not vote, compared with 5.8% moving to the PN. Abela is trusted by 44.4%, Alex Borg by 35.1% and neither by 20.6%. The government receives an average performance score of 3.1 out of five. The findings are a polling snapshot, not an election result.
